Hello again, my dear! I've been on a bit of a vacation, but I'm back now and given to understand that I've missed quite a bit. No one's shuttled you out any of the airlocks in the interim, have they?
[There's a sigh, then the automated voice of the audiotext starts up, repeating Vanadi's words. Once it's done, Fenris huffs out a chuckle]
No, I doubt I have made many new friends, [or any] but I am still present and accounted for. [There's a pause, because feelings are difficult] You really were gone a while. I missed you.
[ what. wtf is that voice doing completely butchering his words whaaaat. A QUICK SWITCH TO AUDIO (but not too quick, because he has to actually dig his tablet out for that, and stop brain texting)
sounding just slightly peeved: ] I do believe that reader of yours has absolutely spoiled my greeting.
You can't? [ He's surprised enough that it's out without any thought, but then quickly he continues more smoothly. ] Well — nevermind that, the point is that I'd quite like to see you.
Well, writing is considerably faster a process for me than for others. And besides, I can write you dirty little suggestions, and I would hope that that's considerably more motivation to work out the meaning in them than whatever else you've been using for reading practice.
"Wandering the hallways" is a touch vague, but if you'd be so kind as to pause for a moment, I'm sure I'll catch up shortly.
[He'll glance up at where his feet have taken him] I am outside the eatery. [He still can't call it a cafeteria, the word is too strange on his tongue]
[ And he hangs up, because it really is pretty soon. Hardly a minute later he's strolling into view, hands leisurely pocketed and in a much brighter mood than the last time he was around. He promptly grins, of course. ]
[ As soon as he draws near enough he pulls his hands from his pockets (both go ungloved — too much a hassle these days) and sets one at the back of Fenris's neck, the other against his cheek, to pull him into a kiss. Real answers to that question can come later, maybe. ]
[Fenris tenses, as he always does when someone invades his personal space bubble, more out of habit than of actual fear. It lasts but a moment though, and he's returning that kiss]
text because SOMEHOW THEY HAVE NOT DISCUSSED READING...
Voice; oops oops

My apologies, perhaps I should have mentioned that I cannot read. The device serves its purpose, even if it lacks a certain level of emotion.
[Or...you know, ANY emotion]

Hmmm, I would be quite amicable to that.

Currently I'm wandering the hallways. [Because he's still refusing to sleep in his room]

Look at this, a sight for sore eyes!

As are you. Have you fared well in your absence?
