[When he beams over, though, he really is wincing and limping. There's no bruises on him, of course, but his muscles are very tender. He's never trained like that before! It's rough! And maybe he looks a little buffer?

[There might be a teeny, tiny sliver of pride at the fact that Steven has, indeed, been training and he isn't just whining for the sake of it. A smile briefly crosses his face, before it's replaced with his usual neutral expression. ]

Yeah! The Gems don't need to eat food, so Dad taught me how to do stuff. What do you like?

[He nods as he checks out what's offered. Little comments can be heard-- wow, you guys have a pretty good set-up!-- though he's mostly talking to himself. Cooking on the ships is far different than cooking at home, but still, Steven soon manages to scrape together something.

It's rice, cooked via the stove, plus some chicken-foodstuff (flavored with salt!), some mixed vegetable-foodstuff (flavored with butter!) and some chocolate foodstuff (for dessert). It's not exactly Together Lunch, but it'll do.]

[Fenris watches him with a small degree of morbid curiosity. He's also trying to be sure Steven doesn't set anything on fire. That would be...unfortunate. When the food is put in front of him, he arches a brow. ]

Given what you have to work with, this is impressive.

Thanks! I wish we had real food . . . or milk . . . I still really want a milkshake, you know? And doughnuts, I really miss doughnuts. But this isn't so bad if you close your eyes!

[He hops up onto the seat and sets the plate between them both.]

I have had worse. Exsilium once went through a nuclear winter. All we had to eat were things in cans. Most of it unidentifiable.

[He'll just start to eat, but hey, it's not that bad. ]

Besides, I am not used to fine dining, anyway, back in Thedas. I ate when I could, and was glad for it.

No, I haven't We do not have them in Thedas to my knowledge, and in Exsilium, we were too busy fighting a war.

I doubt I would be able to stop you, even if I wished to.

I would! If you really hated it, I would! But I think you might like it-- and you deserve to try stuff that tastes awesome! And looks awesome . . . blegh.

So I deserve...milk shake. What is it, exactly? I am assuming milk is my primary ingredient.

Yeah! Which is why I can't make one. But there's ice cream too. It's like . . . really thick ice cream. It's a really delicious drink dessert, and it's basically the best, and I've wanted one since I got here and Riku mentioned it.

He's a guy here! The first guy I talked to, actually. He's really nice. He has hair like you!

I doubt he has hair just like me. Mine was not originally this colour, from what I have been told.

What's your original color? Riku's is pretty silvery . . . but maybe he dyes it too!
