[Anders didn't tell him that. Not that Anders has to tell him every little thing, Wolfe would just like it if he did.]
Well. That's good, then. Saves me the trouble of a play by play.
[You totally took the wind out of his sails Fenris.]
And maybe you and Anders can actually, oh I don't know, get along. Considering. We could start up Wicked Grace nights without having to have Varric or Aveline as mediator!
[Which isn't to say it wouldn't be infinitely better with those two, it's just not possible seeing as they're not in the Fleet. But that is one thing Wolfe has been missing. He's made friends here, ones he holds dear even, but there's no sense of a family about it yet. They're all loosely connected islands unto themselves. He misses the camaraderie of sitting around with bad ale and a worse hand and laughing at stupid jokes and getting harangued for his puns not just one on one but in a group. It's a weird feeling he's not entirely sure how to express, but he's certainly more hopeful now with Vengeance out of Anders' head, even if that brings up a slew of adjustments and questions in their personal life together. Things Fenris doesn't need to be aware of.]
You can still sit at opposite ends of the table, of course. I'm not expecting miracles.
[Fenris isn't surprised Anders didn't tell Wolfe. It wasn't exactly a pleasant conversation for the mage. Still, it was a step in the right direction. Varric may well have been right in his estimation that they were more alike than they realised.
Still, the elf has truly missed spending time with others. Just sitting round a table, playing Wicked Grace. Talking, laughing. Just being...whatever they are. It's not the same without the others, but it can be something close. They can make it into what it should be. ]
That may be wise.
[Baby steps. ]
That would be pleasant, though. I am sure most of the Thedosians here would welcome a chance to play Wicked Grace again. ...We should probably keep a careful eye on Sister Nightingle, though. I have a feeling she would be sneakier than Isabela.
Depends, what always got me with Isabela is she would hold a bombastic conversation while sleeving cards. While not wearing sleeves. Leliana isn't quite as boisterous. She is a rogue though, so you're probably right.
[He's grinning happily about it though, the very idea of sitting around the table again, even with some new faces, is a happy one.]
I'll try and hunt down some cards, or even make my own if I can't find anything, and let you know when we can get a game night off the ground. Let Marian know, would you?

[Which is, frankly, no small feat.]

[Think how many cards she could hide, Wolfe. ]
Thank you. I would...actually look forward to that. I'll be sure to let her know.

And I promise it won't be with betting clothing.
[He pauses.]
The first game, anyway.

I think that would be wise. Settle us in gently.

[He gives a warm smile. While Fenris can't see it through the voice only call, he can probably hear it in Adalwolfe's voice.]
I'll talk to you later, Fenris.
no subject
Certainly. Farewell.
