No. Hermione knew him though, where she was before here. He's Starkhaven's prince, right? That's quite literally all I know.

[And he therefore has no opinion, though that same thought that occurs to Fenris about how it might have changed things did cross Wolfe's mind as well.]

And yes, well, I'll be glad to sit with the knowledge that one of the few things both of you can agree on is that Isabela is a great lay.

Weird though, that I never met him. All the rest of the people seem to be the same from one version of Thedas to another, from what I can tell. Well, besides the Inquisitor, but the people I - Haw-...

[There isn't even vocabulary for this.]

The Champion of Kirkwall had with them. Me.

....whatever, you understand what I'm trying to say that you were all the same mostly between worlds, right? But I guess there's more variation than I thought.

That's true of life, I think.

[He chews the inside of his cheek, thinking hard, then abruptly stops when he tastes a bit of copper. He needs to stop doing that, but he wasn't paying much attention as his brain followed down the same path as Fenris'. What if this Sebastian was a deciding factor? Not that it absolves Adalwolfe of his guilt over not having tried to talk to the elf back home, but it does raise the question of their being other things to consider.]

What is he like, this prince of Starkhaven?

I find that most people involved with the Chantry can be rather preachy, but that doesn't really discount them as good people. Aveline is preachy too and she's not even involved with the Chantry.

[Which he says with all affection.]

But someone in the Chantry who actually listens? I wouldn't be surprised if more is different between our Thedases than you've thought to tell me.

[Only... Anders had still set the Chantry up in flames. He can't imagine Sebastian would have been pleased about that if he were a brother. Honestly though, he doesn't want to talk about it.

Though, there is something Fenris should know...]

Um, actually, speaking of... differences. [Awesome segue.] I have something to tell you.

[He doesn't want to talk about Elthina. Meredith and Orsino are easier, at least they had actions to be judged on, but Elthina... She wasn't innocent, not hardly in her refusals, but she wasn't entirely guilty either, no matter what Anders says. Adalwolfe spoke with her as well he could and he found her someone who was trying to walk a similar balance that Dumar had politically, trying to keep the power of the Chantry from boiling over. But she could have done something, and Adalwolfe does agree she should have, just... he's not sure that makes her just as culpable as Meredith's calling for an annulment in Kirkwall even before Anders had ever set foot in the Chantry to complete his deed.

He lets out a soft breath into the com, the only indication that he has any reaction to Fenris mentioning Elthina, but when he actually speaks his voice is as jovial as it ever is.]

I don't think so. In fact, the opposite.

[A brief pause, as if Adalwolfe is bracing himself for a reaction despite his saying there's nothing to worry about.]

Justice is gone. Severed from Anders and sent back to the Fade, thanks to Allen. Riona was there too, in case you don't trust me.

Oh.

[Anders didn't tell him that. Not that Anders has to tell him every little thing, Wolfe would just like it if he did.]

Well. That's good, then. Saves me the trouble of a play by play.

[You totally took the wind out of his sails Fenris.]

And maybe you and Anders can actually, oh I don't know, get along. Considering. We could start up Wicked Grace nights without having to have Varric or Aveline as mediator!

[Which isn't to say it wouldn't be infinitely better with those two, it's just not possible seeing as they're not in the Fleet. But that is one thing Wolfe has been missing. He's made friends here, ones he holds dear even, but there's no sense of a family about it yet. They're all loosely connected islands unto themselves. He misses the camaraderie of sitting around with bad ale and a worse hand and laughing at stupid jokes and getting harangued for his puns not just one on one but in a group. It's a weird feeling he's not entirely sure how to express, but he's certainly more hopeful now with Vengeance out of Anders' head, even if that brings up a slew of adjustments and questions in their personal life together. Things Fenris doesn't need to be aware of.]

You can still sit at opposite ends of the table, of course. I'm not expecting miracles.

Depends, what always got me with Isabela is she would hold a bombastic conversation while sleeving cards. While not wearing sleeves. Leliana isn't quite as boisterous. She is a rogue though, so you're probably right.

[He's grinning happily about it though, the very idea of sitting around the table again, even with some new faces, is a happy one.]

I'll try and hunt down some cards, or even make my own if I can't find anything, and let you know when we can get a game night off the ground. Let Marian know, would you?

[In those massive gloves of hers? So many.]

And I promise it won't be with betting clothing.

[He pauses.]

The first game, anyway.

Will do.

[He gives a warm smile. While Fenris can't see it through the voice only call, he can probably hear it in Adalwolfe's voice.]

I'll talk to you later, Fenris.
